Clarisse 3.0 introduces a new Physical (physically based) shading model which consists of a new Path Tracer renderer and new set of materials, volumes and lights. In the PBR Materials Series, we'll cover the new set of materials released with Clarisse latest version.

The SSS material simulates penetration of light trough translucent surfaces and the resulting scattering effect produced by the internal reflection before passing back out of the material. Watch this tutorial and learn how to use the SSS material!
