Isotropix, maker of leading 3D content creation and rendering software Clarisse, is seeking a Junior Technical 3D Artist to join its product team.

If you're a 3D artist, looking for your first step into a career in VFX, Animation, Games or Visualization, and are interested in gaining a deep understanding of one of the most innovative 3D content creation softwares on the market, then this might just be the role for you. 

As Junior Technical Artist, you will work within the Product team and participate in Clarisse's user experience and evolution by helping to design new innovative features, supporting Quality Control, and creating demo and training materials to support sales and marketing, as well as being an active part of the online community to help provide customer support. Under the directives of our Lead Technical Artist, you will learn to become a Clarisse expert, supporting our team in improving Clarisse for both new and existing users, and ensuring the best possible customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the creation of Clarisse demo, training and marketing materials.
  • Participate in Clarisse user support.
  • Participate in the design of new Clarisse features.
  • Work with R&D engineers to implement validation tests for new Clarisse features.
  • Participate in Quality Control tests of new Clarisse releases.

Requirements

This is an entry-level position requiring:

  • Specialized training in 3D computer graphics.
  • Solid knowledge of two or more 3D software packages.
  • Clarisse experience, a plus.
  • Experience in Look Development, Layout, Lighting, Rendering and Compositing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working know;edge of both English and French, a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (Python/MEL), a plus.
  • Rigorous and collaborative work style.
