Happy 2020 to you all! Before jumping to this new year, we'd like to look back at 2019 which was a super busy year for Clarisse. It was full of releases packed with new features and bug fixes and amazing shows #MadeWithClarisse! Then to start off the new year, we'd like to introduce you to Einar Martinsen, a super talented Senior Matte Painter working at WETA Digital. In his interview, you'll discover his amazing work and learn how instrumental Clarisse is in creating his art. Finally, we'll finish off by showing you some of the latest work recently made by our great community and a special shout out on the release of Maya to Clarisse Bridge 2.0!

A Super Exciting 2019 Year!

2019 was a super busy year for Clarisse! The development team has released 2 major releases: Clarisse iFX 4.0 in January and in July, Clarisse Olympus, the next major version of Clarisse that enables Clarisse BUiLDER. When we add up the 17 service packs released during the year (3 for Clarisse iFX 3.6, 10 for 4.0 and 4 for Olympus), that's a total of 146 new features and 311 bug fixes that have been published in 2019! That's over 12 new features and 25 bug fixes per month!!!

Our development team wasn’t the only ones who worked hard on improving Clarisse, but the Clarisse community and 3rd-party developers released some pure awesomeness bringing Clarisse to the next level! Make sure to check them out if you haven't already!

2019 was also the birth of the unofficial Clarisse Discord Channel. Today the discord community counts almost 600 members that are very friendly and super helpful! If you didn't join up, you definitely should now!

Finally, 2019 was another incredible year of amazing work done by our customers, many were nominated for VES, Bafta and the Oscar awards! Here are some of the fantastic projects #MadeWithClarisse released last year:  Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Avengers: End Game, Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, Catch-22, Shazam, First Man, Godzilla: King of Monsters, Alita Battle Angel, Aladdin, Star Trek, The Dark Crystal and many, many more. Thank you all! We couldn’t be more proud!
