Fred Lillelund

CG Supervisor at DNEG

Frederik Lillelund is CG Supervisor at DNEG Vancouver, he recently finished work on the much anticipated ‘Deadpool 2’ as Lighting Supervisor. In 2017 Fred worked on the highly acclaimed 'Blade Runner 2049' as Sequence Supervisor for which DNEG has won an Oscar, BAFTA and VES award. Joining DNEG in London in 2010, Fred quickly moved through the ranks of Lighting to work on 15 films including 'The Dark Knight Rises', 'Interstellar' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. He moved to Vancouver early 2016 progressing to Sequence Supervisor on 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'. Fred excells on any grand-scale project with his many skills in Lighting using Clarisse and leading large teams. Before joining DNEG Fred graduated with honors from the 3D Animation & Visual Effects Diploma at the Vancouver Film School. Fred got his foot in the door at DNEG through being placed first in the category of 'Excellence in Lighting' at the Computer Graphics Student Awards.

Stephanie Morin

CG Artist at Raynault VFX

Stephanie Morin is a CG environment artist and matte painter at Raynault VFX in Montreal, Canada and a core member of the team since its founding in 2011. A self-described “movie buff since forever”, Stephanie followed an academic path to film theory and production at the University of Montreal. After cutting and splicing 35mm film at Technicolor, she left the analog film world for the digital when she graduated from the NAD Center with a degree in 3D animation and graphic design. Clarisse has become an indispensable tool in Stephanie’s cg environment pipeline. Stephanie’s latest work can be seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Lost in Space and A Quiet Place.

jeffrey M. de Guzman

Digital Environment Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic

Jeff de Guzman joined Industrial Light & Magic in 2009 and has contributed to such films as Iron Man, Marvel's The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Transformers 3, 4 and 5, Pacific Rim, Star Trek into Darkness, Battleship, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation to name a few. His work as Digital Environment Supervisor for Solo: A Star Wars Story will be the focus of his presentation. 

Sylvain Grain

Producer at Cube Creative

French producer and consultant with 10 years of experience in CG animation and stereoscopic-3D imaging, Sylvain Grain is producer at Cube Creative in charge of special formats, innovation and international business development. Sylvain is graduated from ENSAAMA Oliver de Serres with a BA in 3D Communication and from Université Paris 8 with a Master's degree in Arts et Technologies de l'Image


VFX Creative Director at Base FX

T.Lo- VFX Creative Director, was a senior artist at ILM-SF, Lead artist at Digital Domain-LA prior to Base FX. With 13 years VFX experience, working on digital environment, matte painting, texture paint, ZBrush sculpting and concept art. Recent work includes Jurassic World, Captain America 3, Star Trek 3 and Monster Hunt 2.

Danny Oakes

Director of Operations and Marketing at SpeedTree

Danny Oakes is a technical artist and Director of Operations/Marketing at SpeedTree. As well as being a living tree pun, Danny helps to push the limits of SpeedTree by stress testing implementations in game engines and VFX tools to ensure that SpeedTree is able meet the needs of artist’s pipelines.


CG Lighting Supervisor at DNEG

Malcolm Neailey is a Lighting Supervisor at DNEG London. Since 2010 he has worked on 14 films at DNEG, including John Carter, Godzilla, Paddington, Assassin's Creed, Life and Avenger's: Infinity War. Over the course of this work, he has gained experience in lookdev, lighting and supervision, as well as an extensive knowledge of using Clarisse on a variety of high-end VFX. Most recently he was a Lighting Supervisor on Avenger's: Infinity War.
